HPS Expands With Three New Sites in VIC and NT

In a sign of continued growth, HPS is thrilled to announce the successful expansion of its on-site pharmacy network with the opening of three new pharmacy locations at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee, and Healthscope’s Northpark Private Hospital in Melbourne and Darwin Private Hospital in the Northern Territory.

The first of the network expansion was completed at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Werribee which boasts a new state-of-the-art hospital and aged care facility containing 112 beds and six operating theatres along with a host of extensive services. The aged care facility will also be home to 80 residents of varying respite care needs.

Closer to Melbourne, the new on-site pharmacy at Northpark Private Hospital will deliver clinical and dispensing services to the 137-bed hospital facility, which was recently re-developed to include a 12-bed Emergency Department to treat both low and high acuity patients.

Finally, and most recently is HPS’ expansion into Darwin Private Hospital in the NT. The Healthscope Hospital is a 108 -bed facility and is the only private health provider in the NT. Prior to this, HPS was servicing the Top End via its mediSACHe sachets from its pharmacy in Ashford, South Australia.

HPS CEO Jeremy Stones said the opening of the new sites in VIC and the NT was a significant accomplishment for the organisation as it continues to expand and strengthen key partnerships within the industry.

“Our presence at the new pharmacy locations will ensure we continue our market-leading position as a pharmacy service provider with exceptional on-site clinical services, dispensing and imprest management services,” Mr Stones said.

“We look forward to continuing to build upon this network of on-site pharmacies.”
