10 Years of HPS and SJOG Midland: A Decade of Dedication

This year marked a remarkable milestone, 10 years since HPS and SJOG Midland first opened their doors. The team celebrated this anniversary by bringing together the original staff, those who were present from day one or during commissioning, to celebrate a decade of teamwork, growth, and service to their local community.

Achievements over the decade

  • 10 Intern Pharmacists Graduated: Investing in the next generation, the department has proudly seen 10 intern pharmacists complete their training and launch their careers.

  • Clinical Team Growth: What began as a small group of 3.5 pharmacists has now grown to a robust team of 8, expanding the capacity to deliver exceptional care.

  • HPS National Awards – Site of the Year 2019: The site was awarded the prestigious “HPS National Site of the Year Award” in 2019, a testament to the team’s dedication.

  • Expanding Services: The team began servicing Mount Hospital, extending their expertise and commitment to even more patients.

  • Innovation in Practice: The rollout of Pharmacy Request has streamlined processes and improved service delivery for staff and patients.
