Drug Discontinuation

Further to DrugAlert Volume 535, HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Pfizer Australia has announced the discontinuation of Isuprel™ ampoules as follows:

Isuprel^™ 1:5000 Ampoules
Isoprenaline 200mcg/1mL
ARTG 198887

Stock of Isuprel™ 1:5000 200mcg/1mL is expected to be depleted by end June 2020. Pfizer advises that alternative therapeutic options should be guided by clinical experts within each facility.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
