Availability of Ziextenzo®

HPS Pharmacies wish to advise that Sandoz is experiencing a supply interruption for Ziextenzo^® pre-filled syringes, as follows:

Pegfilgrastim 6mg/0.6mL
ARTG 308367

This supply interruption is expected to begin in mid-October and continue until the end of November 2026. However, stock has already been depleted in some states.

The biosimilar, Pelgraz^®, is not affected by this notice. Prescribers may also wish to consider therapeutic alternatives, where appropriate. Lipegfilgrastim (Lonquex^®) is currently readily available.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
