Drug Availability

HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Atnahs Pharma is anticipating a supply interruption for Toradol^® ampoules as follows:

Toradol^® Injection Ampoule
Ketorolac trometamol 10mg/1mL
ARTG 34356

This supply interruption is due to a batch not meeting the required quality standards after being exposed to high temperatures during transit. Supplies of Toradol^® 10mg ampoules are expected to be affected from mid-April 2021, with supplies expected to return to normal in mid-August 2021.

Options during this period include:

• Ketorolac-Baxter 10mg/1mL ampoules. This product is currently unavailable, but is expected to return in early April 2021; or
• If the Baxter product experiences further delays, use of Toradol^® 30mg ampoules could be considered.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
