Drug Availability

LEO Pharma has given notice that Daivobet^® gel will be removed from the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) on the 1^st November 2021, as follows:

Daivobet^® Gel 60g
Calcipotriol 0.005% + Betamethasone (as dipropionate) 0.05%
ARTG 216260 

Prescriptions for Daivobet^® gel written prior to 1^st November 2021 will still be reimbursed on the PBS for up to 12 months, provided stock is available. Following stock depletion, Daivobet^® gel will be discontinued in Australia.

LEO Pharma advises that Enstilar^® foam spray (60g) will continue to be available on the PBS. This product contains the same active ingredients as Daivobet^® gel, with superior efficacy cited in some studies.¹

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
