HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Pfizer are experiencing a supply interruption for cefalotin vials as follows:

DBL™ Cephalothin Sodium
Cefalotin (as sodium) 1g
ARTG 63203

Normal supplies are expected to resume in early April 2020.

The Keflin^® brand of cefalotin may be ordered in the interim. However, this brand is not listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
