HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Pfizer is experiencing a supply interruption for magnesium sulfate ampoules as follows:

Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate 2.47g/5mL (49.3%)
ARTG 16311

Normal supplies are expected to resume by the end of October 2020. An alternative brand of magnesium sulfate heptahydrate is available in a strength of 2.5g/5mL (50%).

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
