Presentation Change of Ropivacaine Kabi

HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Fresenius Kabi Australia has made an improvement to the presentation of ready-to-use ropivacaine freeflex^® bags as follows:

Ropivacaine Kabi 0.2%
Ropivacaine 400mg/200mL
ARTG 195811

The administration port has changed colour to yellow, as shown in the image below. Stock containing the new yellow port is expected to arrive within the next few months.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
