Drug Presentation Change

HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Juno Pharmaceuticals has updated the labelling and packaging of their 10mg morphine ampoules as follows:

Morphine Juno Ampoules
Morphine hydrochloride 10 mg/mL
ARTG 224246

The following changes have been made to the 10mg/mL strength only:

• Ampoules are now clear glass (previously amber);
• Ampoule tray is now cardboard (previously plastic); and
• Labelling design has been updated, as shown in Images 1 & 2.

There has been no change to the formulation or storage conditions. Transition to the new packaging and labelling is expected to commence from mid-April 2021.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
