PBS Change

HPS Pharmacies wish to advise that the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listings for all strengths of Fragmin^® have changed as follows:

Fragmin^® Injection Syringe
Dalteparin sodium

From 1 June 2021, Fragmin^® was designated ‘Supply Only’ on the PBS. This means that, while Fragmin^® has been deleted from the Schedule, it may still be dispensed on the PBS using prescriptions written prior to 1 June 2021. Fragmin^® prescriptions written after 1 June 2021 will no longer be eligible for PBS subsidies.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
