Drug Discontinuation

HPS Pharmacies wish to advise that Sanofi-Aventis has discontinued the manufacture of Intal^® Forte as follows:

Intal^® Forte Inhaler
Sodium cromoglycate 5mg/actuation
ARTG 67820

Intal^® Forte is currently available, but no additional supplies will be released after the present batch.

Intal^® (1mg/actuation) is continuing to experience a supply interruption. Normal supplies of Intal^® are expected to resume by the beginning of September 2021.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
