HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Bayer is experiencing a supply interruption for Progynova^® tablets as follows:

Progynova^® 1mg tablets are currently experiencing a short-term supply interruption, although some states may still have stock. Bayer anticipates that Progynova^® 1mg tablets will experience a long-term out of stock from mid-September 2021. Supplies of Progynova^® 2mg tablets are currently unavailable. Normal supplies of each strength are expected to return by early May 2022.

Alternative estrogen preparations should be considered during this time.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
