HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that Perrigo Australia is experiencing a supply interruption for Diazepam Rectal Solution as follows:

Diazepam 5mg/5ml

This supply interruption is due to delayed quality assurance testing of the next batch due for release. Initial testing indicates a potential issue with the product shelf-life, although further quality assurance and stability testing is required. This is expected to be completed by the end of next week. However, there is the possibility that a replacement batch will need to be manufactured. The manufacturer has not yet provided an expected return date.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
