Availability of Cefuroxime

HPS Pharmacies wish to advise that all suppliers are experiencing a supply interruption of cefuroxime tablets, as follows:

Normal supplies of Zinnat^® tablets are expected to resume in late February 2023.

Please note that Zinnat^® granules for oral suspension (cefuroxime 125mg/5mL) has now been discontinued by the supplier.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
