Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
HPS and its network of HPS Approved Pharmacies’ CSR agenda considers the whole picture, from internal business processes to interactions with clients, implementing strategies at every level of the business and its day-to-day operations. Our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) is continuous and unwavering, and embraces environmental and community stewardship as both a necessary and contemporary issue and core business practice.
This holistic view of business activity is depicted in our triple bottom line approach to CSR, recognising three streams – society, environment, and business.
Extending its commitment to the well-being of individuals, and the delivery of quality healthcare to the community from beyond its normal pharmacy operations, our social program has a strong clinical health focus and is representative of the whole life journey.
With an emphasis on extending and enhancing human life, HPS’ commitment is underpinned by business relationships, supporting clients to strengthen their health systems.
Understanding that a truly accountable business acknowledges the impact their operations have on their people, environment and communities, we constantly assess our supply chain and challenge our suppliers to promote sustainable business practices.
We consider it an obligation as a responsible business operating within Australian communities to ensure it is environmentally conscious with respect to its operations.
The ultimate goal of the CSR program relates to HPS’ business channel, ensuring the future longevity of the company, and providing jobs to the community, and custom for suppliers.
Our business success allows for the building of mutually beneficial relationships and steadfastly positions the company to support its suppliers, workforce and clients to the value of the entire community.
