HPS Pharmacies wish to advise that AFT Pharmaceuticals Australia, in consultation with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), have given notice of a drug recall of:
Paracetamol 665mg modified release tablets
The only affected batch is: EPA 1512A with an expiry date of January 2018.
This recall is in response to the discovery of a foreign tablet in one bottle of Paracetamol Osteo-Tab®. The foreign tablet was more ovaloid in shape, and had the markings ML96, which fits the description of an irbesartan 300mg tablet.
Please inspect your stocks and quarantine all products from the batches listed above for return to your supplier for a refund.
Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units for one month. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
