Availability of Vancomycin Vials

HPS Pharmacies wish to advise that Alphapharm is experiencing a supply interruption for vancomycin vials as follows:

Vancomycin 500mg

Vancomycin Alphapharm
Vancomycin 1g
ARTG 153439

Supplies currently vary according to state or territory. Normal supplies of vancomycin 500mg vials are expected to resume by mid-October 2022. An expected date of return is not yet available for vancomycin 1g.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
